WAR start 30 days!!Lebanon conflict to Syria invading Bekaa Valley would strike ‘Real blow’ to Hizbullah

Israel urged to widen any future Lebanon conflict to Syria
Invading Bekaa Valley would strike ‘Real blow’ to Hizbullah

BEIRUT: The Israeli state must take into account Syria’s role in supporting Hizbullah in any future war with the Lebanese group, an Israeli security analyst said on Friday. Renewed hostilities could also see Israel launch a ground invasion of the Bekaa to cut Syrian supply routes to the Shiite group, Jonathan Spyer, senior research fellow at the Global Research in International Affairs Center, wrote in the Jerusalem Post. Hizbullah officials contacted by The Daily Star declined to comment on the story.
“Any future strike at Hizbullah that does not take into account its status as a client of Syria is unlikely to land a decisive blow,” he said, citing a recent report in the British magazine Jane’s Defence Weekly which claimed that Syria had supplied the Shiite group with missiles capable of hitting central Israel.
“The logic of confrontation in Lebanon suggests that Syria may find it hard to avoid direct engagement in a future Israel-Hizbullah clash,” Spyer said. The “point of no return” would be if Damascus provided anti-aircraft devices to Hizbullah to use during Israeli violations of Lebanese airspace.
The analyst also said that “if Israel wants … to strike a real blow against Hizbullah, this implies an Israeli ground incursion into the Bekaa” and areas close to the Syrian border, which allegedly now host most of the group’s military infrastructure.
Tensions between Israel and Lebanon have mounted in recent months, with Beirut accusing Israel of running espionage rings across the country. Earlier this month Tel Aviv blamed Hizbullah for planting 300 kilograms of explosives near the Blue Line border.
Last week Israeli minister without portfolio Yossi Peled said he believed another conflict with Lebanon was “only a matter of time,” prompting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to deny his government was seeking a war.
In a meeting Wednesday with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak was quoted by Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot as saying Israel had no “intentions to attack Syria or Lebanon.” Barak has in the past, however, said Israel would not only target Hizbullah but also Lebanon’s government and infrastructure in a future conflict.
During his own meeting with Mubarak on Thursday, Lebanese Prime Minister nevertheless said Beirut took all Israeli threats “seriously.”
“Any threat against Lebanese territory, whether in the south, Bekaa, [the Beirut suburbs of] Dahiyeh or any other region in Lebanon is a threat against all of Lebanon and the Lebanese government,” Hariri told reporters, calling for Arab solidarity to “counter these threats.”
Spyer said that the “ominous statements” by Israeli officials were not intended to announce the arrival of a war but rather to warn Syrian officials “that they should not think their alliance with Hizbullah is cost free.” A report published by Al-Liwaa newspaper last week claimed Lebanon could be dragged into a possible war with Israel as early as March.
The Israeli state launched a devastating 34-day war on Lebanon in July 2006 after Hizbullah members captured two Israeli soldiers in a cross-border raid. – With additional reporting by Wassim Mroueh

Israel Could Invade Bekaa in Any War with Hizbullah by purim

Jerusalem Post: Israel Could Invade Bekaa in Any Future War with Hizbullah
Israel could make a ground invasion of the Bekaa valley during any future conflict with Hizbullah because the Shiite party has relocated its main military infrastructure to eastern Lebanon, The Jerusalem Post reported.
"Since 2006, Lebanon's eastern border with Syria has formed the key conduit for weapons supplies to Hizbullah. And Hizbullah is reported to have relocated its main military infrastructure north of the Litani River … to areas close to the Syrian border," the Israeli daily said.

This suggests that the Jewish state would make a "ground incursion into the Bekaa" if Israel wants in a future conflict to strike a real blow to Hizbullah, it said.

In case of such an incursion, Syria would supply Hizbullah with arms, the newspaper added.

NO FAST Tisha B'Av Moshiach 5770 Six months until Moshiach

Rabbi Nati wrote last year on MPaths:

We are very short on time, just a little over a year to go. One year and two months to be exact until it has to come. The redemption has to be now to be ‘before it’s time’, and as the pasuk says “even if I bring it in it’s time, I’ll bring it before it’s time.” In the next year much from the navi’im, the holy biblical prophets, must happen. We are well into and on our way to Gog u’Magog. They will come, once again, to divide the land, claim the holy city, and crush the chosen people. It is truly time to pray.

Baba Sali, dreams and Mashiach

Baba Baruch, Rav Baruch Abuchatzeira, the son of the Baba Sali, has given an interview to Bechadrei Chareidim to commemorate the Baba Sali's yahrtzeit.
The interview is pretty interesting as he describes some of the greatness of his father, and relates various stories his father was involved in. One part in particular stands out. Baba Baruch describes how his father has appeared to him at different times in dreams.
One such time was during Operation Cast Lead they did not know if they should plan a hilula in honor of the Baba Sali's yahrtzeit. The Baba Sali is buried in Netivot and that was within range of the Grad missiles being shot into Israel at the time. To bring thousands of people to Netivot for a hilula seemed irresponsible. Baba Baruch says that the Baba Sali came to him in a dream and told him to prepare the hilula and he would take care of the rest. The next day he got word that they had agreed to cease fire.
Baba Baruch then says that the Baba Sali appeared to him in a dream less than 2 weeks ago. In this dream the Baba Sali told him that Mashiach will come this year, and that we should prepare and be prepared for his arrival.
Halevai it should come true!

war with Hezbollah by end of next March.

Israel will respond to Iran's & Hezbollah's missiles with catastrophic weapons Elias Youssef Bejjani
07 Jan 2010
This analysis was eritten by Hamid Ghoriafi, Middle East Analyst & Journalist,
Published on 07/01/10 by the Kuwaiti Daily Al-Seyassah,
Translated from Arabic by Elias Bejjani, LCCC Chairman
*Israel is providing her 4.5 million citizens with anti-weapons of mass destruction masks.
*Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak is expecting a war with Hezbollah and Iran by the end of next March.
*The Israeli army fears that Hezbollah might launch missiles with biological and chemical warheads.
*Israel confirmed that its response would include southern Lebanon, the suburbs of Beirut, the Bekaa valley and the heart of the Gaza strip
Next Wednesday and Thursday, Israel will carry the most extensive training exercise in its history. The aim is to prepare the country for the potential threat of biological and chemical warfare missiles which her military and political experts fear Iran or Hezbollah might launch on the Jewish state, or through a series of local terrorist attacks by weapons of mass destruction targeting Tel Aviv or other major Israeli cities.

The "Orange Flame" is the name that was given to the campaign according to an Israeli media agency. The training is expected to cover Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and Holon. It will focus on procedures and tactics required to rescue those injured by biological and chemical weapons. This exercise is going to be carried despite the fact that the state's "Interior Front Command," is working on the distribution of anti-biological and -chemical masks for the entire Israeli population of 4.5 million.

Hundreds of medical and rescue teams, municipal authorities, hospitals, special army and internal security services units, will all jointly participate in this biggest and most extensive exercise that aims to address potential biological disasters that could hit the country.

The training will involve vital ministries e.g., health, interior, defense, and public affairs. All staff in these institutions will be trained on how to face a catastrophic biological warfare in which thousands of citizens could be exposed to deadly gases. Meanwhile, hospitals in Tel Aviv and other regions like Ichilov, Tel Hashomer and Beersheba, in addition to health organizations and portable clinics will all be ready to receive more than a thousand volunteers who supposedly will be hit with biological gases.

According to the Israeli Haaretz newspaper there will be three major centers in Tel Aviv to accommodate the injured: the House of Danny, the Ramat Gan sports stadium and the Holon club. The training will also include thousands of citizens, civil servants, army and civil defense elements, in addition to doctors and nurses who were trained during the past few months in dealing with internal (terrorist acts) or external (missiles from outside the border) biological and chemical attacks.

Gen. Zeev Snir, who is assigned to represent the Israeli Defense Ministry in supervising the exercises, told the media that: "Our first challenge will focus on containing the damages caused by terrorist acts and biological or chemical attacks, and then identify the type of biological or chemical agent used in a bid that life returns to normal as quickly as possible".

nation of Rab Shimon Dahan about Mashiach
by isaacb on Wed Oct 21, 2009 4:56 pm
Stages of Moshiach
This is from the latest shiur by Rabbi Shimon Dahan, in which he explains why predictions given by him don't actually occur as foreseen
Translated by Yeranen Yaakov - but please note he is just translating the shiur as he understood it...... If you can understand Hebrew and want to listen to the shiur click here (the transcription below can be heard at approx 8.00 mins in)
Rav Dahan says that he got a telephone call saying there is a certain Rav who is one of the Pashtanim - i.e. not involved so much in Kabbala - and then clarifies that it's Rav Daniel Zer - who was shown in a dream that we should prepare since Mashiach is coming in three months.
He then immediately got a second phone call from someone that Rav Dahan appeared to him in a dream that (an audience member clarified) Mashiach is coming this Pesah.

Rav Dahan then addresses the point of how come he's been giving Shiurim for 30 years, and he keeps saying - at least fifteen times - that Mashiach is coming at this time and at that time, but he doesn't come, so how could he say it again? He ends up looking like a liar!
He nswers that there are different stages, and whenever we receive a message that Mashiach will be revealed, that is not a lie - it's true, but it could only be a stage in the process.
Rav Dahan quotes the Sha'ar Hagilgulim, which says that Mashiach will come when his feet are exactly at the same level as our feet. During the time of the Rishonim, Mashiach's feet were opposite our eyes. During the time of the Ariza"l, Mashiach's feet were opposite our chest. Right now, his feet are right next to (but just above) the level of our feet, Rav Dahan said. So every stage brings him closer.

This Nissan Geulah per the Vilna Gaon

A number of us (were surprised today by an article in (the rabidly secular Israeli newspaper) Haaretz declaring,

"If the 18th-century rabbinic authority the Vilna Gaon was right, on March 16, 2010, construction will begin on the third Temple. His projection states that the auspicious day will coincide with the third completion of the Hurva Synagogue in Jerusalem's Jewish Quarter.

The great day is at hand: On March 15, the reconstructed Hurva Synagogue, considered the most important house of prayer in Jerusalem will be rededicated. It was last destroyed in the War of Independence...

The Hurva, whose name means "ruin," was initially built by disciples of Rabbi Judah Hahasid in the early 18th century. It was destroyed shortly thereafter by Muslims demanding the return of loans given to build the synagogue. After it was rebuilt in the mid-19th century, it became the most important synagogue in the country, but it was blown up in 1948 by the Jordan Legion a few days before the fall of the Jewish Quarter in the War of Independence.
