PanARMENIAN.Net/ Israel is planning to conduct a huge military operation on the Lebanese border in February, for which it has started to prepare by bringing equipment to the frontier between both countries, Al Watan Syrian newspaper reports
According to the author of the publication, the country has sent a letter to Lebanon through UNIFIL forces in the South to say its border activities should not be cause for concern.
The newspaper adds that during his last week’s visit to Ankara, Lebanese premier Saad al Hariri allegedly voiced concerns over possible Israeli attacks against the regions, particularly Lebanon
Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barack recently carried out an inspection visit to the country’s northern border to meet with TSAHAL servicemen and military leaders, MIGnew reported.
TSAHAL is Israel’s state army, ensuring the country’s security. Its current leader is Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenaz. Under the country’s law, military service is TSHAL is mandatory for all citizens over the age of 18.
